On 19 January 2026 new Gambling Commission rules took effect: a 10x ceiling on wagering requirements, and a ban on any offer that moves a customer from betting into a second product type. Free bets without any wagering condition may sit outside the cap or inside it; nothing establishes which, so the operator’s terms settle it.
