Betting sites & exchanges

Where a fight bet is placed matters as much as the price. This section starts with licence status, since a sharp price at an unlicensed operator is worth little.

Bookmakers come first (best, new, independent, high-limit and no-limit), then spread betting platforms and betting exchanges. Exchanges operate under the betting intermediary licence. Comparison tables sit in separate articles.

Licence status is read from the Gambling Commission’s public register. Addresses end in .com for licensed operators, which tells nothing about legality. Stake limits are not fixed by statute in sports betting, as far as is established; each operator decides its own maximum.
